LOUISE RUMBALL & THE RALLY INTRODUCES THE WORLD’S FIRST BEAT-BASED SOMATIC WALK

A new wellness walking ritual designed for busy women who need to regulate their nervous system but don’t want to sit still to do it.

For years busy women have been sold one route to a calmer nervous system: slow down. Meditate. Breathe. Sit still. Find another hour in a day that's already full. Move your body. 10,000 steps.

The Rally is a walk built on a different question. What if you could change how you feel just by walking and breathing to the music?
Created by integrative health practitioner and wellness strategist Louise Rumball, who healed herself from an 18-year journey with an autoimmune disorder, The Rally is the world's first beat-based somatic walk. A guided audio walk that layers rhythmic walking, music, breath cues, somatic work, psychology and nervous system regulation into one experience.

Part workout. Part nervous system regulation. This is Soul Cycle energy that’s actually good for the female body, hormones and day.

WHY MOVEMENT, NOT MEDITATION

“The Rally came out of a gap I kept seeing” said Louise Rumball. “These busy, impressive women were always being told to slow down and regulate but they were the women least able, and least willing, to sit still and meditate. But no one ever explained ot them why. The physiology of the Type A modern woman is more sensitive to stress - activating faster and coming down slower. Combine that with pushing between meetings on caffeine and adrenaline, the blocks for the nervous system to be able to come down add up.

The modern woman is also sitting in a soup of ‘toci stress’. Every time cortisol and adrenaline fires, there are byproducts produced by the body too - things like ammonia, lactate an inflammatory cytokine. Not a problem, if the body moves through them but for women sat at a desk all day, breathing shallowly, i really staretd to see the impact of the

I was working with more and more women with unexplained acne, skin problems, gut issues. For me, everything tied back to the pace of life and the ipmact on the body. So, I set out to change it.

The Rally takes what people go looking for in meditation, breathwork and somatics and builds it into something you can do walking to work, between meetings, at lunch, or at the end of a brutal day. No studio. No equipment. Even better that it feels absolutely amazing.

5 DIFFERENT TYPES OF RALLY.

Every Rally is engineered for a different moment and a different state in the busy woman’s day. Some, like the Morning and MIdday Rally activate: energy, momentum, drive. These longer walks are 23 minutes, pacing up and down to the beat of the music, similar to Japanese Interval Training. Others like the End of Day and the Restorative Rally are designed to calm the nervous system - slower, not paced to the beat of the msuic. THe Rapid Rally is the fatest in the catalogue - a 10 minute rally designed to interrupting stress, overwhelm and mental noise when you really don’t have time. And Activation Rallies? These are designed as manifestation walks - using the bilateral stimulation of the music, layered with breath, full body visualiosation and EFT tapping to provide a full body manifestaiton experience while walking.

THE SCIENCE STACK

Most wellness tools lean on one thing. The Rally layers several into the same walk: rhythmic entrainment, interval pacing, breath and oxygenation, music and tempo, somatic movement, muscular contraction, circulation and lymphatic support, and psychological state-shifting cues.

Walking drives repeated muscular contraction through the feet, calves and legs, supporting circulation, pumping the body’s lymphatic system, moving toxic byproducts thorugh the bodym and giving physical activation an outlet so the nervous can come down. Breath re-oxygenates the body from within. Walked on the treadmill or outside, they can work for anyone, anytime anywhere.

Selected journalists, editors, creators and wellness industry leaders are invited to experience a Rally and test the format firsthand.

Headphones on. Press play. Walk to the beat. Breathe to the beat. Feel the shift.

Walk. Move. Shift. Rally.
